help meeeeeeeeeeeeee

was playing with .dats a little and uhhh yeah....
trying to change ROM, folder 28, 13 (lizard jerkin, i think)
to somthing else....
still new at this .dat switching and not even sure if i'm doing it right
but when i can't log onto ffxi, i know im doing somthing wrong

any help would rock

Re: Oops...

Looks like you deleted some important system files. You have to becareful to only change the specific dat you want and nothing else. Run file checker at the start of pol for ffxi and see what's missing/corrupted. If you haven't done many dat mods before, not much should show up beyond what you messed up. If you only deleted a couple important files, try to replace them. Otherwise, reinstall fixes everything.

Bah...just ran file checker and said i wasnt missing anything.
I'm a nub at .dats...i moved 13 from ROM folder and put somthing else in there just experimenting....then i got that message....so i put the 13 that i moved back into ROM and thought everything would work. Well...:\ things didnt lol...any other ideas?
