  • Mithra tails.

    I really don't like the way mithra tails stick up in the air during battle. It gets on my nerves an awful lot, yet with duel weild or a Katana, the tail points downwards. Is there a ways to mail the tail go down for other weapons? If someone could tell me what .DATs to change, or create a new .DAT for me, I'd be greatful n__n If it's possible that is.

      as far as i know it depends what weapon your using (me and a whm friend go duoing quite often and ive commented on this before( when she uses a staff her tail goes up, and when she uses a hammer it goes down :S not sure if theres a way to change it, maybe with vrs i dont know

          hmmm maybe get someone with vrs to make a one handed weapon that looks like a staff :S thats all i can come up with ; ; could do it with meta but would be near impossible stretching a wand or hammer that much while keeping the texture looking good

            Its not possible to do it with vrs that I know of but maybe....I've never tried loading an animation dat but I think I might...

              You can either :

              A. Remove / Shrink the tail using either VRS or Meta.

              B. Move the default tail stance to curve the tail in slightly, thereby altering the extent to which it moves, using either VRS or Meta, also.

              C. Put tassles on the tail that are attached to the finger skeletons so that theyre constantly moving and distracting from the upturned tail, doable with VRS.

              Other than that, you're not going to be able to "change" the animation, only adjust it. I would really suggest option B.

                Well in VRS there is an open motion/Motion playback, but... I tried loadign the animation dats listed in MV, but no luck. I couldn't get anything to come up.

                  Hmm, I'm not THAT advanced to change anything other then colour things in at this point. XD; As soon as I work out how, I'll try that unless anyone comes up with a .DAT file first. ^^ Thank you for the help though!
