  • Request: Ninja outfit for Mithra (references inside).

I was watching old Sailor Moon episodes with my friend's daughter the other day, and an episode came up featuring a female ninja monster named Oniwabandana.

I thought the outfit she wore might make a nice .DAT mod for Mithra and Hume Females (maybe Elvaan, too). It took me forever, but I managed to finally track down some video footage on the internet to make screen captures. You'll have to excuse the poor image quality.

Please. I hope someone can help with this. I don't think the outfit looks too complex. The only thing is there are some asymmetrical features (the boots are a bit different) but as long as the gist of the outfit is there, it won't matter.

    Thank you!

I believe the gauntlets are either leather or metal -- the animators added the light-reflection, so I'd assume metal. The boots are asymmetrical -- one is really heavy (like it is armored), while the other is a lot lighter-looking. I don't know how an asymmetrical set-up would be done, though. I think making two heavy-looking boots that come up above the knee would be best, if it isn't possible to render them asymmetrically. I think they both have the metal shin-guard things on them, too. The shoulder armor is also metal. There is also some detailing around the hips, like leather braiding or somesuch. On the back, there is a diamond-shaped opening that mirrors the opening on the front (see the reference pic at the link below). I think that the whole outfit is pretty skin-tight. I think there'd have to be a divider in the back-flap to accommodate a Mithra tail, but other than that, not many alterations.

As far as the color, I think either a deep red or a reddish-brown would work.

I was trying to spare people the loading time by posting a link to the reference pics, but if its easier/OK to post them in the thread, I'll go ahead and do that.

I can't post them all, so here is the link again. More reference pics:

Thanks again for the help! I'm looking forward to this!

hmm im liking the look of that, i know it would be possible to make 2 different boots, at least the models, in vrs (even though i cant use it ) but i dont know about making different textures for each one ><

Is there a facemask in the big .DAT compilation? I'm not seeing it if there is...

Re: Request: Ninja outfit for Mithra (references inside).

Thank you!! I'm sorry its turning out harder than expected.

I don't mind if small details are missing (even though the leg bandanna would be hella cool). I'm very grateful you are taking the time to fill this request.

I'm really looking forward to the finished result!

                              Edit:
                              When you say this:
so the legs are just goin to be nakie
do you mean that there will be no underpants? If so, is there any way to just put something black down there? This is my only really "picky" point, as I don't want to be running around with my bare fanny hanging out -- it would happen in battle all the time, I'm sure. If you don't want to, that's OK. I can maybe do it myself, albiet sloppily.

                              Thanks again!
