Another thing, I don't think ppl were too thrilled at my elemental staves. Didn't even get a 'thank you.'

I thought they were great. =O I can't use them personally because I'm a mihtra, and the only one I use anyway is fire since I'm a ranger.. ^^ but yeah.. I thought they were really nice.

Also sorry to be a nuisence but where can I find this bow?^^

Ahh... I understand, thanks for trying, the staff looks decent as is but I'm thinking I'll just stick with the normal staves

hmmm. these are all very good mods :D

i was wondering, has anyone tried (or would anyone be willing to try) making a guitar upside down for a great axe? you know, so you could whack people with it like in FLCL :D

Sorry to bother you with this question, but I know this is a weapons request thread, however I shield kind of goes in the weapons category more so then the body armor category I think... so I was wondering if you would be willing to make a shield mod I had in mind. If not I understand, thank you

I've made a shield mod before. Turned a Decurion shield into a mithran frypan complete with a ladel I made out of a rod. Person that requested it wanted to be a goblin chef. She still hasn't responded in thanks, which is why I try to demand requests that people would actually use instead of put on for 2 seconds and throw away later.

I also don't take kindly to gag, imaginary (no pic), polymorphic (see ichigo), or challeges either. It demeans the honest requests on this thread and also slows down the process of getting those completed. This is my time and effort that goes into these works, not some outlet for people to spam out ideas to stuff into DeviFoxx's collection.

Anyhow, with enough vertices, I could probably modifye a pre-existing shield to your specifications. Just give me a few pics to work with (try to give at least 2 with varying angles), but if you want something like an emblem painted, I'll only leave a section of the shield unstretched for you to paint over with no accidents (Painting isn't my thing).

Oh, and gimme 2 weeks, school work is piling up and exams are being handed out before Spring Break so I need more study and game time. Go ahead and post now, I'll have it done once I get everything sorted out.

Cool, np however long it takes is cool with me, I have a pic I made earlier that has the general shape of the shield let me know if you need any more to work on if what I provide seems inconclusive.

Edit: Brain blur on my part, forgot to mention as far as proportion wise, I am a Tarutaru The face of the shield is pretty much going to be smooth not to much change in heigh, except where the black meets the make shift bevel I made it needs to go down a little bit to show a slight gap between the two. The middle of the shield will be painted with the graphic I have in the pic I posted. As far as the overall corvature of the shield it just needs to be slightly curved... I'll post a pic of a shield with similar curvature as soon as I find one. Also not sure if this is entirely possible but is there anyway to make the Tree and stars I will be painting onto this pop out? it would be cool if they had a 3rd dimension to them, if not np just thought that would look cool if it was manageable (I don't know much about) Vrs >>)

Mithra ~ Katana : Talim's Blades (Sword & Razor styles)
- Hirenjaku mods. Right to Left porting was doable, move all the jagged ends to make the secondary blade, fold straight edge to make a double bladed point. Sword is what I made by proportion. I'm not a huge fan of the broad blade, so I made Razor.
Lakai> As a taru, did you want the same size as pld/drk/war kite shields or something a little bigger/smaller?
1) If you want me to change size, could you post a stick-figure drawing so I can get a proportional guide?
2) If you want the same size, I can just take this shield (pic) and bend the top and sides inward, that's really easy.
About having the stars and tree stick out, SE does that with shading to give that illusion. BTW, I use Metasequoia, not VRS. Things get done faster with Meta, VRS is like using a construction crane to paint a picture on the ground. It's not the difficulty, but it gets very tedious.

Yeah that size in the pic is good just maybe a little bit smaller... I'll attack a pic in a minute. Somethign about that height, the width of the shield you posted is perfect though. Ah ok I didn't know that about the illusion of 3-d on items like that, I'll just have to practice my shading skills a bit ^~^ Thanks for the insight.
