  • FF V Monk project

I'm trying to recreate Reina's monk costume for mithra, then later the other races.

There is still one thng that confuses me when it comes to makeing new outfits.

Say i take the kenpogi(sp) outfit, which i probably will do, and chop off the arm (rember only 1 on the model) will it work?

Last time i removed a model and pasted another one over the top it realy screwd up, I was told that VRS was the only way, but then how were these old .dat's created when vrs wasent around?

Will it work if i chop off the arms and stick the normal arms on? or is it going to get all scrunched up?

possibly modifyable from aketon? since that thing already have the little extra stuff hanging from the waist. the shoulder pad and sleeves will have to be removed.

Since I think it is most likely a Cheongsam I think i have a file that will help (maybe, I dunno). Not going to post pic or file because of its barely worksafeness (can't tell myself). It was a rather crude version of a Cheongsam but with work it would be nice. I think it would give you a nice base on where to start. If you want it, contact me and i'll get it to you. Same goes for everyone.

          Re: FF V Monk project

Could you post a pic when your not at work, i dotn rember what it looks like

Ive gotten fairly far with the model, ive finished the remodeling, taken off the curved part of the signia, closed up the bit under it yto give the dress tuna arm things, i know its not chinese but if i cut and paste arms in the model will mess up, looks good tho.

Changed the belt into a pink ribbon to match the pink ribbon tyeing up the arms

I'm going to have to do the slit on the sides with transparancy though, alas

sorry for the spelling errors im sick and feel like hell.

I do remember there being a Chinese pants-suit mod out there, that you could possibly modify some to get your desired garb. You might have to find another model for the skirts and annotate with it, but it could be done. I'll take the screencap of my Nauti in that suit tonight and post it
