I was browsing through some FFT pictures to see if there were any armors from that game that would be pleasing for FFT.

I found a picture of a female mime (anyone who's Played Tatics knows the Female and Male Mime's costumes were completely different) and think it'd be a pleasing armor to use - minus the mask and neck scarf.

Anyone have any tips what to use as a model base to begin with?

maybe some sort of doublet or whm af? that would be the right shape at least or maybe the ladies yukata? you should easily be able to mod them in meta i would think
edit: although i dont know how bad the texture stretching would be around the legs if it was done as im thinking (all as part of body piece)

There's a mithra custom made body piece that already has a basic shape to it - Probably might follow that for tips - since I need bell sleeves but also a dress-y looking bottom

if it is for mithra only, then opaline dress is pretty close, just would need new sleaves

Yeah - that would be a model hacking and pasting job too >.> like take seer's sleeves and add it to the armor

Thats actually pretty simple to do, in VRS. Hacking bits off one and combining them. But it does take fine tuning to get them to come together properly. I'll try to get a guide up soon on comining models. Its alot simpler than you would think

im pretty sure you could do it in meta too, but again, dont know how it would look with the texture stretching
