My First Reskin ^^

This is my first attempt at a reskin. just used one of the body armors in the dat collection and used the colors on noble's tunic ^.^

i think it came out pretty nice (there are a few spots i wanna touch up.) what do u guys think?


Note: Just got Brd AF2 hat night before made this! XD


Also:

I kinda got ahead of myself as far as experience with this stuff goes=P
at the same time i started my first head model. was puting parts of 3 different hair styles into one. im not really sure what i should be using for that so i tried using 3d studio max. was going ok for a while. now i just have to close2 gaps in her forehead and reskin it. but that i dunno how to do either ^.^;;;. ill show you guys what i have.



any tips or suggestions?

For a first peice, I'm rather impressed. The outfit matches well, and the texture on the white cloth is somthing I am still trying to get down myself, given the streaching problems.

Honestly I cant nick pick at this outfit at all, except its yet another edit for mithra leaving other races sorta sitting on their hands going "Hey can I get some attention?"

lol honestly once i get better at this i will make version for all the races. i just dont know how to port the models from race to race yet. but before that i wanna finish my custom mithra head and maybe makeangel wings.

Anyway anyone have any comments on my head model in first post? should i even be using 3d studio to remodel '.mqo's? Or if anyone knows how to do this can u contact me and maybe finish it for me?

lol i dont know much either. that there was my first time using it =P
i didnt feel like reading a ton of tutorials so i just messed with it
(thats how i learned how to use photoshop)
slowly picking things up but gunna put my face model on hold until
then. who knows i might just start the face over again and maybe
i can be a lil more careful with my editing to not have that gap.
right now im mainly working on my angel ^.^ Also
i kinda want pigtails for my mithra so that might be next also.

Pigtails? Like the Hume mod that was done? I think the Hume mod of that is also in DeviFoxx's collection.

Looks really good so far. Every character could use some nice casual clothes to run around in besides undies and swimsuits and wedding clothes.

ya id like to see a pigtail mod (or a few) for the kittys ^-^

and ive been doing the same thing, tutorials and help menu's dont do much (and meta has
none) so i just play with everything trying to see what does what. (honestly most of my
time is spent in photoshop)

oh and i look forward to seeing the outcome of your mithra angel project ^-^
