Re-installing ffxi without updating does work. I got curious after I formatted my pc so I installed ffxi, downloaded the model viewer and it was the original file, it looks a bit weird though o.o

I changed the .dat files to see how it looks. And good thing I kept the original files to change it back too.

Personally, I think the new sit looks a lot better than the original one. The clothes just look funky when a mithra sits gapped open like that. But to anyone interested, feel free to change the files. But I perfer my mithra without the original animation.

I've been playing a long time and have been around before and after the change.

My opinion was that the change was silly, mithra sitting was good as it was and changing it just to avoid "perverted comments" like it sounded they did seemed to be the easy way out to avoid e-mails about it.

However after a long time and seeing that old sit animation posted at alla with images it somehow seemed less fitting. It just didn't look good.

In the end though, I must say that even with the new sit looking better than the old, I think mithras have the most boring sit out of all females.

In normal clothing and such the old Mithra sit wasn't that bad. It isn't like the female Hume and Elvaan sits can't be changed to something provacitive either. Get a Hume with a large shield, sit him right facing those females and the right angle it's sexually suggestive as well then.

The Mithra one I only saw one use that was pretty bad, it only worked with Mithra and Galka though with the old sit. If the Mithra and Galka sat right it would look like the Galka had his hand in the Mithra's crotch and the Mithra legs spread for it. It was probably sometime just after that photo went around that SE seemed to changed it.

I just dont know anymore. As a Mithra i dont like people around me but as a hume male i all out crazy. I guessing it all base on the mood. I remember when i was a Mithra i use to go out and kill things cuz i look out of controll sexy killing then when i sit down i look awesome with my AF but when i look into how i was sitting i look like well you know so i happy that they change the the way they sit. SE could do better you know and maybe they can do something about the way hume male sit. Come on they look like they having a heart attack.

I remember it, and there was nothing wrong with it, as long as someone tried to see the undies between your legs (and I BET many many people try to do it)

Lol, i admit, i took by myself some screenshot of mithras sitted, but when they were in AF, not just because they were sitted (for that i watch doujin...) but chaning the sitting positiong is......... kinda futile. There are a lot of other methods to see the "private" part of a mithra during the game...

well i know this i am a hume male and my other char. is a Mithras both jobs are 75. And i love to make myself look good when i am a mithras. Man if it was up to me i would marry myself becuz my hume male char. and my Mithras char. both look good together XD
