Wow. Very very nice. Too bad I can't figure out how to use VRS lol. I can load the models and textures and what not but cant seem to find the right stuff.

Revision 3. Note the widened tsuba, along with the tassle slats. I also adjusted the appearence of the tsuka to have five diamonds. Length was not really changed, I'm fairly happy with that, although I did adjust the curvature a bit. I may still do some retexturing on the tsuba.

I've studied the design of the Katana on Advent Children, and it looks like the blades' width are about as wide as the handle - as if they were forged from a single piece originating from the hilt. So the width seems a little wide to me because of this. Or it's probably just the blades' thickness that gives the impression that it's too wide.

Also, I would say the length is about right, but it still feels a tad "short" to me for a long weapon.

I'm pretty content with the modelling, but I've grown increasingly dissatisfied with the texturing. Opinions?

The blade itself in the picture looks a little too brown-yellowy (might just be my computer) Perhaps making the blade a bit silver-y-grey color could be a good place to start

The blade looks fine to me; it might be something occuring during compression. What I was getting at was the handle; the tsuba and the part gripped by the hand. Too tired right now to do anything else, but I'll do some more stuff tomorrow.

now that I look closer the handle (tsuba) does look a little flat - some more texture or something to that effect might help - I'm really tired too

Using the new methods recently discovered, the katana has been ported to TT, MR, and GK. The other four model types are impending.

I went and downloaded the dats from the other site oyu uploaded them to, but you cant use those same dats to dual wield are you going to make dats to use as the sub?

How were you able to add a second blade to the file you used to modify it? I've been working on a Kadaj Katana and a Sephiroth Great Katana myself.

I've pretty much got the textures down, however when I try adding a second blade to Kadaj's, it does not show up when compiled.
