Relation of NPC Files to Model Viewer

Have we confirmed that NPC's share the same files for armor and images as the PC characters? Or do they have their own file set?

If the later, have we discovered which files pretain to what? it woudl be nice to customize the armor on my NPC.

From what I can tell any NPC who uses normal looking armor. jus the random NPC's. Use PLayer armor, simply load up somethign differrent for nothign equip on elvaan female, and goto the Port jeuno Deliver Items NPC. Any NPC's like that use the same armor.

Now basicly any NPC thats listed in MV, aren't the completely generic NPC's, some are though, Just take any NPC, Extract the Dat > MQO like normal. And what you will get is face/head/body/hands/legs/feet images with a DDS for each and 1 mqo and mcd for all of it. So yes any NPC that extracts how i just said you can edit the armor/look specificly for than NPC alone

*Note - No I haven't tested modifying a NPC and re-uploading it back in but it should be easily possible. Just like all others.

I know for certain that out summoned NPCs use the same .dat files for armor that we do. I've got a screenshot of my NPC wearing the Lizard armor that I modified.

Yes I knew some did but not all. Take Nana Mihgo (cat burglar) I know for fact hers are only used by her. Extract her files and you will see what I mean. There are 6 images that are extracted.

I would just classify any npc that doesnt' have uniqure armor as A Generic NPC

If they have a Unique armor, they would be more like your quest related NPC's.

When my npc hit level 50 i used the file attached as a joke at:

So, yeah. I'm pretty sure npc use the same .dat files.
