I like the way its going so far, I might want to add a few sugestions.

For the darker parts of it, namley the hands and feet, see if you can make a resemblance of ice, much like Ifrit's and Titan's gauntlets resemble rock and lava more, that would realy bring out the avatar's image more.

The body is nice, you are right a bout the chest, what you can do about that is make the texturing more faint around the area and let the lighting itself do the darkening.

A texture detail on the cloth she carries with her on her arms would be keen, along with a slightly lighter blue tone on it if you can. The hair and makup are fine, I dont see a reason to change either or in their current state.

WOW! i'm very impresssed. Last 2 weeks i've been interested in lvling summoner and this makes me want to drop almost everything and lvl to 20 asap! but then i don't have the skins.

I tried something odd with Shiva...I tried to make her legs and hands look like cracked ice. It looks a lot better in game than in the Model Viewer. Almost got eaten in Uga-whatchamacallit Range trying to take pictures so I'd have an idea of how to do the ice.

/sigh The things I do for art.

I like how she's coming along though she could use a little more detail - but that's probably because of the screenshot lol.

The cracked ice look looks good!

I still say the body needs a bit of detailing, and perhaps a bit on the cloth as well, but if you releaced it the way it is now I would still love it.

I really like the shiva as well, but my favorite shiva is FFX, I think she looks weird without clothes ;;

You guys are WAY too conservative...

Why in hell would an avatar need clothing?! They are mythical, magical creatures [not to mention a video game] and are one of a kind; hence the ability to summon them at will. Technically, they have no ability to reproduce, therefore have no genitalia, so what are you wanting to cover up?! The MILD resemblance to humans that several avatars have has nothing to do with *gasp* "Private Parts".

Its not the conservative part of me that matters Monet, its the fact that it looks a bit bland thats all. Avatars in the history of FF one way or another were dynamic. To be honest I dont care weither or not it has genetailia. (But I would hate to be the taru stuck under Titan in THAT situation) I just wanted a bit more detailing.

I concur. While not necessary clothes on shiva (minimal of course) would enhance her I think, whearas clothes on ifrit would just be silly.
