Something that I started doodling around with-about three hours work. I haven't done anything at all to the feet and hands yet, but I liked the top so much, I thought I'd post it anyway.
Well...I could darken up the shadows around the *ahem* chest region to make it...er...stand out more. I hope your friend isn't thinking of breast-implants bigger-that's a whole different ballpark there, pal. (I can't beleive I'm having this conversation.../laugh)
Seriously, I see your point, it does need more work there. Thanks! ^^
hey, what you could do is take the lines in the middle that are outlining the cleavage and press them together in the middle. Then do a deep shadow towards the bottom. You can also do a light fade on the top to show definition. That would probably make them look bigger.
what can I say, I enjoy studying the human body in art (seriously).
Very good attention to detail, even for just recoloring. It's very hard to get the textures to come out right on these damned things sometimes. Very good, though.
As far as larger chesticular regions, Spazz, u don't need a whole new model. Reference my WHM AF1 .dats...

Yeah, all you have to do is edit the model in Metasequoia. Basically, as long as you do not add or delete any verticies, you can edit to your heart's content. I can't wait for the day when someone figures out VRS or cracks the.mcd code. ^^
That would be so nice, Solid. FFXI models really lack alot of detail that would make them look better. I've monkeyed around with added vertics just to see how much better they would look and just one or two in the right places really makes a huge difference. I wouldn't mind playing that on my Alienware, since I did pay for spectacular graphics and FFXI doesn't deliver to my ideals >.>

I use MSPaint for almost all of my initial drafting. I'll start by mapping a line or two, then convert and see how it looks. If it looks good and positioned right on the model, I'll use photoshop for touchups.
Also, if you don't feel like drawing by hand your own textures, it's as easy as googling "texture" and picking one of the millions of free ones. Then, it's as east as cutting and pasting them into the original design.
Amaduan's done some really good detail work so far. It's hard to get some of these models[armor] colored right because a waist-line might be just one pixel wide and when you try to recolor it... well, it just gets crappy looking. It's even harder once you start changing .dat/.mqo files.
