  • Creating a *.DAT

    I haven't been able to figure this out in the past few days. Been using search and checking links, but not much info (any info in japanese I can't read). >.>

    My goal is to create a custom overlay skin for the menus and chat windows.

    I can extract the bitmaps in the *.DAT using POL utilities, however I've not found a way to re-create the *.DAT, or insert my custom images into a *.DAT. I do know how to convert the textures into the S3 compressed format--that I've done before.

    Perhaps there is some hack that can be used with the english modelviewer? Currently I can't get it to open random *.DATs, or at least I don't know how.

    If anyone has some info, I would appreciate it.
