I tried changing the AF white but it didn't really look good to me O_o

although other colors like green, red, blue came out nice

could be jsut the way modelviewer brings stuff up, white didn't look to good cept on the mask part.

It's because you are using 100% white aka 255,255,255.
When working like this white is not a color it's light/brightness. Yes In game lightning does play a big part but if you make it so light it turns white all the textured details will go away. It's important that the color white in a texture is not only one color but many. Look at the white mage armor and you will realize what I mean. Good luck ^^
