    Thanks for that info ^_^

Yes. Initial tests show that 85% or more of your baseHP triggers the latent.

So, 850/1000 = latent on. If you add 200 in hp gear, 850/1200 = latent on as well.
Um...that's contradictory >.> If you need more than 85% HP, adding 200 will put you below that. So, do you need more, or less than 85%?

Also, I'm amazed there's nothing in this recipe that's worth hundreds of thousands of gil. It's almost too good to be true. Anyone know if this is a 100% drop?

EDIT: Never mind, got the answer, it's not 100% drop, although the drop rate doesn't seem too bad either.

Re: Goblin Drink Found !!! (supposedly)

I think the operative word here is "base" HP.

If what Loial is saying is if your normal (naked) max HP is 1000, you need 850 or more HP to get the effect. Adding more HP via gear/food/etc. shouldn't affect the trigger point - even if you add 500 more HP from gear and food, you'll still trigger it above 850 (which is actually rather cool if true).

If this was confirmed, a mod should prolly take the '(supposedly)' out of the title >_>

I think Icemage clarified it nicely. I'm not sure about food effects. I'd think +HP food would work the same as +HP gear, however I can't confirm this myself atm. I also believe that baseHP *includes* HP merits. I'll see if I can verify that.

And I do agree about being skeptical. Nothing in that recipe list is hard to acquire. I think Wild Onions and newts are the only items that originate from something other than an NPC vendor.

Ah, I see, I overlooked that. If it really worked that way, it'd be fantastic...

Refresh effect, not regen. It's probably another 1 mp/tick.

Ara, that's weird, Mystery says Regen but Somepage says Refresh.

If it's refresh indeed then I guess I'll be getting one soon.

Could anybody test the 2nd recipe given?

                          Re: Goblin Drink Found !!!

Another site has a screenshot showing refresh in the item stats box and people have supposedly tested it at 1/tick refresh.

I have to say, while it's probably good for PLD leveling up and maybe good in merit, it doesn't seem appealing for Dynamis, Limbus or HNM. MP just isn't a major concern in those situations, especially since any spell other than Flash is highly likely to be interrupted while there are any monsters attacking you. I'll stick with harmonia's or shield torque, thanks.

It may be better for DRK, though, since they don't always get refresh even when there's one in the party, they don't have auto-refresh trait, and not everything can be aspired to make up for it.

I'm going to wait until the drink drops back to the 5-10k range and there's nobody competing for the spawn point. Shouldn't be more than a couple weeks, people are just hung up on the newness of it.

I agree. I can't see myself using this over Shield or Harmonia's Torque. But I still want one I think I would probably use it on 50 and 60 capped stuff. (not sure)

I tried to get one last night. There were about 10 people at each spawn point. I saw the Wolfman several times, but never actually saw the spawn point because people were 'claiming' so fast. So like you Karinya, I will just wait it out and get one later.

I used my new parade gorget last night at lolHydra. I got the sanction refresh effect so I had 3mp/tick. It worked like a charm. I haven't had the chance to try it anywhere else though. But, so far I like what I see. Is 1mp/tick > 3 enmity or 7 shield skill? That's debateable.

For the time being, I swap it out for an enmity torque when my HP is low or my MP is near full.

                              /targetnpc
                              /item "Goblin Drink"

Spam that with no mobs in front of you and it will likely increase your chances. I went 2/3 on the drop with a friend.

                                Re: Goblin Drink Found !!!

Here's some results as an fyi:

I fished up 5 newts in about 90 mins at the waterfall before Sea Serpent in Yuhtunga Jungle. My fishing skill is 38. I used a fly lure and a Halcyon Rod.

I made 4 drinks with one failure. My cooking skill is 81. So I think the drink skill cap info above is correct as well.
