  • Chocobo Quest Questions. Please Help!

    1 - Since my main city is Sandy, (where I first started) it's obvious that I can only check up on my chocobo from there, but I had been spending quite some time away from it for a while, in and around Windy, but now I'm back in Sandy again, and I couldn't care for the chocobo for a while.

    Only now, it's come to the point where the npc choco guy (don't know what you call them) in Sandy is constantly telling me that my choco doesn't care about me anymore, and has now run off and disappeared too! (probably cause I couldn't do enough to care for it) So I cannot look after it until it has returned.

    Does anyone know how many real life hours/days it takes for your choco to return if/when it runs off?

    2 - Endurance = poor
    Strength = poor

    There's one or two others which I cannot remember right now, but when you speak to the choco guy at the stables, which of the attributes do I have to use in order to build up my choco's strength and endurance e.t.c?

    I've had "basic care," racing against other chocos, going for walks, digging for treasure, but I'm really confused on which ones I need to use to build up those attributes I mentioned above.

    Also, my choco is still slow at walking pace, so which attribute should I be building up on to get it to run at the original choco running speed?

    Re: Chocobo Quest Questions. Please Help!

    I don't know how many days it takes for the choco to come back. I've heard different lengths from people in the game for their choco to come back. As far as raising strength and endurance. I set my choco up on the go for walk in town care plan, feed her carrot paste and took her for walks until she was an adolesent when I changed it to Vomp carrots, deliver packages and long walks/compete against others. I'm on day 28 and her strength and endurance are both a bit deficient. I think I'm going to be able to get her to First class on both of those before she gets retired, I'm already doing good.
