I nearly fell out of my chair when I cared for my chocobo today.
Zopago gave me the "Day 128 Report - Walk in Town"
Poor/Poor/Poor/Poor (as expected)
I Competed her and she won.
(checked and no change in stats)
Long Walk in Passhow.

Not enough energy for a short walk so I decided to tell her a story.
Diligent Chocobo (she was interested in it)
I checked her stats and her Receptivity had gone up to Substandard!
Of course, she's on a Walk in Town plan for today, so tomorrow she'll probably go back to all Poors and be forcibly retired. Ah, irony.
