Black tipped adolescent!

Wow, got very excited - my 3rd chocobo raising attempt, FireClaw turned to adolescent today... (day 19)

STR = bit deficient
END = bit deficient
poor others
no abilities
prefers clear weather
has patient personality

This was a bred chocobo between my previous female choco (whose physical stats were substandard) and another so-so chocobo.

As soon as the chick hatched, it already had "aggressive" personality. Using a care plan of nothing but "take a walk in town" and feeding it carrot paste & vomp carrots has resulted in END dominant adolescent and the personality change.

But I'm super excited that this could turn out to be a coloured choco now! How likely is it that a black tipped adolescent turns into a (black?) coloured adult?

Your chocobo should grow up to be a black chocobo. So far, the adolescent tailfeather colors have indicated the adult color.

btw, nice name! Are you hoping it'll burn up the racetrack? Looks like it's on a winning streak.

Mine still first yellow one and on like day 85 or something but I cant retire because its run away. Really want to try do another to get red or black but not until I get rid of this one. Gratz, Im soo jelous D:

The other night I heard her cheer while I was in the other room. I popped my head in to see what was up. She was all giddy and happy because her chocobo learned Auto-Regen. ^^

Hehe, I am thinking about trying for an ability too... might try to max out STR/END first, then do a bit of digging for treasure for discernment & then read those stories... not sure whether I'll risk it yet.

The chocobo matured today! Woooooohooooooooo!

I had lots of people send me /tells and even in that screenie, a passer by looks to have attempted to write "drool". :D



Stats haven't improved in the whole adolescent phase, which is really starting to worry me. I've been taking very good, very carefully structured care of this bird. Next care plans include some of the really high-powered stuff like delivering messages, so we'll see.

grats. well, one of my mule's chocobo is going to be a blue one, as it has blue tips in adolscent. too bad i can't show you a screenshot b/c my computer is broke (in the shop with a old motherboard that finally decided to give out) and the earliest i'll be getting it is Wednesday.

oh, i raising a new chick myself that i mated my chocobo with a black one. i just hope and pray that neither chocobo runs away by the time i get that computer back because i'm unable to play ffxi without that computer.
