  • Genetics are important!

Currently I am doing some experimenting with chocobo genetics after encountering some interesting points:

    1) Breeding a Black and Blue Chocobo can result in a Yellow Chocobo.
    2) Parentage DOES matter when deciding a chocobo's most progressive status, contrary to the belief it's all random.

Mostly I'm interested in creating a punet system for chocobos, but I am looking at stats now. On day 12 my baby chocobo, Cobalt Lightning, developed Substandard Endurance and on day 15, still a chick, Substandard Strength. She was a breed of two blue chocobos, one of them with A Bit Deficent STR and Substandard END(Favorite Foods where Vomp Carrots and Azouph Greens) and one with A Bit Deficent in both STR and END, favorite foods where Azoph Greens and Tokopeko Wildgrass I guess chocobos do drugs to. My chick's favorite food is Azouph Greens, with Vomp Carrots and Grass being contentedly.

Note the care plan I chose when breeding was Likely to be a Male, imaginge how much sooner the stats would have progressed if I chose a highly endurance careplan!
