Both by main's and my mule's chocobo got lost a lot. delivering messeges. Like 1/2 or even 2/3 of the time. I'm wondering if this is normal? I kept them both very happy : /

Getting lost delivering messeges...
There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,
but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence
transform a yellow spot into the sun.

Re: Getting lost delivering messeges...
Are they Ill-tempered?
I'm guessing Ill-tempered increases their chances of success, but if it's a hard careplan like digging, the success rate is much lower than with one like Carry Packages. I'm not sure if failure affects the actual "benefit" result for the chocobo either--it's possible it only affects your pay, but I don't have any data either way (only conjecture so far). Duchesse was on Dig care plan and she failed all the time... She went something like 2/10... She always looked so unhappy afterward to--It's also quite possible that failure creates a greater decrease in affection.

Re: Getting lost delivering messeges...
1st Chocobo (before the update): I did the silly mixing-of-care-plans, ended up with poor stats all 'round and every time the choco was sent to deliver messages or carry packages, it was a rather humiliating experience for both of us...
2nd Chocobo (was already being raised when the update happened): I have managed to get its STR to Average so far and END to Substandard; it's had an "Ill tempered personality" from since it was a chick, and all deliveries of messages and packages are done perfectly!
Hope that helps.--

Re: Getting lost delivering messeges...
1 of my chocobo is patient. The other one is ill-tempered.
