LOL, Day 27, she dropped some packages. And now she's bored. Ok, so, I guess I need to supplement her with something other than repetitive activities.

That cutscene was hilarious to see the Galka chasing her.

Oh and Strength: A bit deficient
    Endurance: Average.

Yay! That's very exciting to me. Anyway, I raced those chumps. Three times in a row they've been beaten. Got story of a happy chocobo.

So anyway, I'm gonna feed her and go to class. 3 more days before I have my own personal Chocobo express.

Can you call them in the new areas?

Yes, you can call your bird whereever you can ride rental chocobos.
The probability of someone watching you is proportional to the stupidity of your action.

        SNAP!

        So yeah, she matured.

She's Average in Both Endurance and Strength.

Was the care plan a sucess? Well, she's average. So... I suppose not really. But at least she's not slow. I'm going to make her Rest tomorrow, since she's still injured, even tho I went and wasted money on two bits of Guasebit Grass.

So it's gonna be 1 day of Rest, then we're gonna get started on delivering messages. This seems to be a rigorous plan, so I'm going to alternate her caring schedule.

Holy Hell, I took her on a Long walk. Christ, she's huge... And she lost the race... Well I guess I shouldn't do those when she's injured >_>

So thanks everyone for all the help, I think I understand chocobos now, and I'll prepare ahead of time and so forth and so on.

At the moment, RedVelvet is average in Strength and Endurance (ugh, and she doesn't seem to be very fast...).

I retired her on day 34 after I got the Chocobo Whistle. That cutscene was so cute! LoL, so I guess this past month hasn't been a complete waste.

Anyway, now that she's matured, I suppose I'll move on to breeding.

Once again, thanks for all the help, peeps! I am a Chocobo noob no longer!

          /salute.

            34 days >.>

I don't know if the parent's stat matters, but you have 60 days before your chocobo stop developing stats. The care plan of the adult period boost status wayyyyy faster than the first 29 days combined. My chocobo reaches First-class strength on day 46.

I think I over do him on the str tho. Now I have to catch up his endurance. There have to be ways we can plan out to reach max strength on the 60th day and give a more balance development among all stats.

I'll try that with my next chocob.

You can't develop stats after 60 days? -_- That explains why my discernment hasn't moved since I got my "distinguished air" message despite doubling his carrot ration and keeping him on digging for treasure all the time. >_< What's the point of the last 30 days of care if you can't affect their stats anymore? Racing I guess?

LoL, well, my reasons are that I only had about 20k to my name, so I couldn't afford to keep raising her. I decided to cut my losses and be better prepared for my next egg.

The 60 day is what I heard from my LS. Probably the old "peak" period I guess. You can still teach him abilities, I think that's the reason.
