  • Gender vs Warmth

Each of the 5 chocobo eggs have a varying discription of warmth on them. Ranging from somewhat warm to slightly warm I believe. It's been suggested that the warmth of the egg might determin what gender the chocobo is. So what I would like to do is everyone post the warmth of the egg they used and the gender it turned out to be. If you can't remember the warmth put were you got it from.

    Slighty Warm = Female |
    Slighty Warm = Male |
    Bit Warm = Male |
    Bit Warm = Female |

Great! I'm interested in seeing if it's true or not as well. I'm in the process of collecting all 5 eggs and will use this to determine which I hatch first if it really works.

mine was warm came out male, friends also warm came out female. As far as encounters with LSs results on it, warmth does not seem to determine gender. Out of 40 people 5 eggs have produced both males and females.

Now weather an egg suggests a gender greater over another or whatnot that hasn't been tested. Our LSs running theory is for example:

              slightly warm = Yellow (80%) Color(20%) High Strength [Male 45% | Female 55%]
              bit warm = Yellow (70%) Color(30%) High Receptivity [Male 60% | Female 40%]
              warm = Yellow (75%) Color(25%) High Dissernment [Male 30% | Female 70%]

And so on, basically the egg starts with potential ranges and chances for certain stats.

Yours was how warm? And your friends? They're all "warm" but was it slightly, faintly, etc? Just for the sake of his poll/research we need to know how warm it was :x

It does seem that the warmth doesn't gaurentee the gender but I'd like to continue, maybe we can get an estimate on them.

And yea.. they're all warm, the question is how warm.

                      For me:

Faintly Warm -> Female -> Yellow, no personality

                        Re: Gender vs Warmth

ehh, when I said warm just meant whatever the highest one was. Think it's somewhat warm is the highest.

Like I said though our LSs done all 5 of them between 40 players and got male and females from all 5.

Collected it from a few that were on and it was this:

                        2 Bit Warm | Male
                        3 Bit Warm | Female
                        1 Little Warm | Male
                        1 Little Warm | Female
                        2 Somewhat Warm | Male
                        1 Somewhat Warm | Female

That was all that were on I could ask, the other 30 I didn't see to ask them.
