well, if white = yellow chocobo...then what color tips = red? <.< i havent heard anyone say theirs were red...or have i seen a dat file with red tips O_O maybe...lol but w/e, i can always raise another choco :D

apparently only Blue and black have been impimented so far, green and red will follow in a later update.
Shame i'd quite like a green one.

I didn't take any pictures, but blue and black tailfeathers are REALLY obvious in game. I'll take a pic next time I'm on.

For those people how got colors other than yellow, did you have anything noticibly different? I ended up with yellow and a chocbo with no discerning personality, not afraid of any weather, and no traits.

I've got a black-tipped chocobo, all I did was stuff the chick's gut with vegetable paste and toko grass when he was sick, and had him "take a walk in town" as soon as the option was ready (I think maybe 2 days into the chick stage, can't remember).

All his stats but endurance are poor. Endurance is "substandard" on the first day of teenagehood. He's a patient chocobo, has been ever since he developed his personality.

My chocobo was the ISNM 6- Egg.

It is a Blue Chocobo.

Stats: All Poor
No Personallity
No weather preferance
No traits

My purple tipped choco was from the NPC, third egg in the list.

All stats poor.

Mine did get stuck in a choco-coma for about 6 days. When he woke up, he was depressed for another 4; I think this was because he went from the highest affection lvl to the lowest. He's back to the highest now. He was only perky once, and sick on the same day.

I've been feeding him Vomp carrots and the greens that start with a S.

I believe raising a chocobo in a certain way will affect it's growth. I also believe that your chocobo, even if it has white-tipped feathers, will have the possibility of changing in to two different types of chocobos. I've seen a picture that has been accurate so far. There are four different teenaged chocobos, but 7 different adult ones. There is a chance you can end up with a colored one, I'm hoping.

As for my chocobo, all I did was watch over it, take it for walks, and feed it Gysahl Greens. On one or two days I'd feed it an Azouph Green or a Vomp Carrot. So, perhaps foods combined with how you raise your chocobo will determine it's color. It's very likely, but still a possibility that this is untrue. We'll only find out when the chocobos reach an adult stage, and when people have submitted their information on how they raised their chocobos so that we can create an accurate chocobo raising guide. same mine never did anything but I took it out each day and fed it the Choco vege green things that I bought a stack for 30k

I had a faintly warm egg from the NPC, it has a military personality, and white tail feathers. I knew I'd get a yellow chocobo.
