What breed/color chocobo are you hoping for?

See title. When chocobo raising was announced I really wanted a black one, even knowing that tons of people were probably thinking the same thing. Now that some images have been released, I think I'm going to shoot for a blue Palfrey. They look almost as cool or cooler than the black Destriers because they have more variation in color, and their breed's traits seem more suited for chocobo digging, especially in Altepa where I do most of my digging.

Blue or Red... couldn't make up my mind so went with blue.

On the other hand, if they added chocobo armor... black destier all the way. :D

Blue. It's my favorite color. It's my hair color. It's just an awesome color all around. Plus, like Taskmage, I really like the particular coloration of the Blue Chocobos.

Then again, we haven't seen what the red or green ones will look like so maybe I'll change my mind!

between red and yellow, I don't really like them. Chocobos are like sports cars, red and yellow are for chicks, or sad lonely people. Except you of course.

I picked blue, or Red since I wear Amir armor for fun it would look neat I guess(neat huh I rarely use that word). No one wants yellow since that just like a rental but more then I say 85% of us will get one.

Yeah, I expect most of us will end up with plain old yellow at first. If we're lucky we'll get tiny variations in beak size, I guess.

A free chocobo is a free chocobo. I'm not going to complain regardless of the color.

Unless it's green. I'll beat it then.

Fun fact: Moogle Abuse is easily countered by leaving your mog hosue and zoning back in. MHMU never knew a thing, heheheh.

I'm not really gonna clomplain at what color I get (though i'm hoping to get red or black being from Sandy).

At first i'm guessing a lot of people are gonna have yellow, but wait about 2-3 months, and for those of us who stay around for the duration and not give up will get the different colored ones at a higher rate.

And by then there should be a way to almost control what color your chocobo will be ^^

Yeah, I didn't expect a lot of people to be gung-ho for yellow, but I didn't want to discount the possibility that someone might want their chocobo to be the "traditional" color and just have distinct physical features.

If the beastmaster job quest taught me anything, it's that you can beat and mistreat a chocobo, and it will still dig up roots for your seriously ill son and even give you a ride.

So why waste all my time being nice to it?

I wanted a blue chocobo names "Cobalt Flamme" but I named mine "Royale Zepher" because I didn't think it would be blue...

I'm going to chime in for yellow. Mainly because I don't mind being a Plain Jane.

I'll be happy with any color, but what I really want is a gold one...
