When i finally got to the stage in Alchemy where I could make Carbon Fishing Rods the price was approx 5.5-6k per rod.
The price has now plummeted since the changes to 2.8-3k.
Would you attribute this to the fishing changes?
I was thinking perhaps people need more rods and thus the price crashed as people went through more.
But when i thought more about it I found myself thinking that people go through "LESS" rods since it's more skill based (and i heard rods break less now).
It's hardly worth making these rods at all anymore since the profit margin is practically none existant since they use Carbon fiber which is desynthed from bomb ash (which itself is a rare pain in the ass to farm.
The sad thing is these are the most effective skillup item I can make at the moment. So instead of selling them at the AH I just flog them to vendors for 2200 gil.
Better than them sitting on the AH for days not selling and the price crashing further and me wasting AH fees.
