  • Stupid Synthing Question!

OK, so everyone knows it's good to be well above the level for a synth to have a decent rate of HQ for it...but I have a question about that....

When attempting for HQs on an item that requires a second crafting skill, say, Noct gear, does the secondary craft skill have to be well above the secondary craft's skill cap in order to get a good HQ rate?

If so, what level would you recommend having Clothcraft and Leathercraft at before attempting to profit off of HQ Noct and Seer's gear?

Yeah, both skills need to be above the skillcap to get a good HQ rate. I haven't done many HQs on cross-skill synths, so I can't comment properly on how high you should be.

...There is nothing so sweet as cross-skilling for skillups, btw. Getting .4 skill in 1 synth is a thing of beauty.
    You know I'm right.
