1.1 MIL gets bonecraft how far, an actual high lvl bonecrafter please ^^

Hi, i was wondering excactly how far 1.1 MIL will get me in bonecrafting, i would like someone who's actualy done bonecrafting pretty far or someone who just knows off experiance to tell me please. Thnx a ton

A hell of a lot farther than me, and I'm at 57. I've only lost maybe 200k getting this far, not counting the gil I spent to get my pimpin' sunglasses. I've made back the majority of my losses doing profitable synths for cash, too. Btw, I found I got guildpoints at approximately 3:1 (GP <--> Gil), so the specs were another 200,000 or so.

Bonecrafting is really cheap. I'd say more than half of your synths break even if you sell them either at the guild or at the AH. You can even profit on certain skillups - arrowheads and some armor come to mind. Very few crafts let you profit while skilling up. I'm more or less pacing my friend who is goldsmithing...his current crafting choices are: 5k loss per skillup synth with the potential to lose 8k on a botch, or 1k loss per skillup synth with the potential to lose 64k on a botch.

i've spent about 500k getting Bonecraft to 53.
and about 200k getting leathercraft to 17.
(both selling nothing back to the AH)

i'm almost out of money, and i can't find a way to get more money.
well... there used to be quite a few things i could do, but the prices of those items dropped to about half when i started looking for something to make money with.

Farming your materials to cut costs is a fallacy. Anything you farm, you could have sold, hence you are still losing money. Furthermore, you could have been farming something more profitable overall and used that money to buy the ingredients anyhow.

The only times I farmed were when I was a low-level crafter and needed mountains of bonechips, and the only reason I did that is because the guild runs out and there weren't any at the AH. I'd go mining in gusgen, killing hoardes of undead in the process.

You can start working to obtain the Magnifying Specs at level 30. You can make it to 30 easy if you powerlevel and it won't take much money at all. The question is how good you are at obtaining GP. The glasses are the first guild item so it costs 70,000 GP.

I'm 53 clothcraft. I can say that I've not lost more than 200-300k getting this far, due to taking advantage of the very cheap fletching synths (which can get you many, many levels). After here, it starts to get more expensive with the use of silk and then rainbow threads.
