fishing in jugner forest post Oct 6 update

i logged on after the update to get some fishing in. i'm using insect paste to fish moats, tricolored, and dark bass. i had 50+ consecutive bites, one nonbite, followed by 10 consecutive bites. i'm a lvl 20 fisherman with a composite rod. did SE change bite rates on purpose?

Jugner lake was always godly to me, no matter moonphase. I skilled up there from 19 to 29 around 3 months ago.

I tried fishing before patch in Jugner and got nothing good >< *wasn't much better than Rabao =/*

eventually my streak came to an end. i must have had around 70 bites and only one nonbite before the streak was done. it was only a 74% moon on firesday. i've fished this lake before and never had these kind of results. oh well, back to lousy bite rate fishing.

I used Jugner river for most of my moats for Lu shangs quest. I did the first 3,000 in whatever city i happened to be in at the time. I never fished in the lake though, i didn't like stopping now and then for mobs and there aren't any in the rivers. Try the river since the lake has crapped out, i think you'll be happy ^^

That big ass lake due north. ^^ (There is an NPC at the lake, you can also follow the river to the north, really, you cant miss that big lake at the north-center of Jugner)
Forget the ponds and such, is the lake where great fishing is at. It was so great to me it really spoiled me. When I moved out of there to skill up at other places fishing felt so dull.
