  • Deciding what Guild

First I was sure that I wanted to do Goldsmithing though when reading about different guilds I´m really not sure.

I need help from you all to help me out.
First of all I don´t care if the guild is espacially good for a sertain
job. Since I have many different and not one that is one that I wanna supply with my crafted items such as NIN that might wanna do Alchemy or woodworking for Utsesumi or tools etc.'

Could you all help me out and post guilds that you think is good why and why not.

And what guild/s make the most money.
And the once that are the most expensive.

I would suggest Cooking to anybody. And it's relatively inexpensive to go get to Lv.50. I really wish I had decided to level Cooking from day one, instead of waiting so long.

In 10 days I leveled Cooking to Lv.40+. Was pretty simple, and Cooking benefits all jobs.

Mages - Juices at low level Cooking. Pies later on. All MP based mages should eat some sort of pie while EXP'n.

Melee - Depending on what your job is, there are Mithkabobs for melee damage dealers, or boiled crab and fishkabobs for tanks.

Fishing - You can save a ton of gil yourself, and help make more gil if you make your own bait. (I can easily fish up 4-6 stacks of Moat Carp on a full moon. During that time I make my own insect paste, and sell Insect and Crayfish paste. I've made 2-4k on sold paste while fishing as well.)

Beastmaster - Save a good amount of gil if you make your own BST tools. Biscuits, and familiar broths. (Famous fish broth is 4k a stack in Jeuno, I can make it pretty regularly. 500g a stack for Water Crystals, 14g each for San d'Orian Carrots)

And of course you Cook for a profit. I farm Land Crab and Cockatrice meat. I grow the other items for Mithkabobs, buy the bay leaves and sell stacks of Boiled Crab and Mithkabobs. Even if I buy the crystals, I make a substantial profit that way. (In one Full Moon, I farmed enough Cockatrice meat to make 9 stacks of mithkabobs. They all sold very fast. 3.1k-3.5k a stack. Basically 30k)

So with Cooking you can make and save gil.

Clothcraft can turn into a slow gil maker with just Lv.10 Clothcrafting skill. So that's a viable option as well, but I would still suggestion you put some time and gil into Cooking.

      Hehe

Pie is situational. I prefer Sweet Rice Cakes or +1 melon pies. They have mana regen while regular pies do not.
