  • HQ Haubergeon

Although im only at Smithing 63 which although i am capable of trying to Synth it (i would never try with such expensive materials) i am aiming to get to 70 ish and then try to synth a HQ version.

Now, this is something that i cant keep trying to synth due to how expensive the materials are.

What would be the best way to try and get a HQ? Other than raise my smithing to an even higher level (as the cost post 75 seems to start to spiral out of control).

Obviously synth with Smithing support and stuff, but what else could help me Synth a +1 version without too much risk in failure and blowing the Damascos ingot into little pieces ?

Haubergeon is lv69 cap. You're not even going to have a chance of HQ unless you're 95+ with 60 clothcraft.

Aiming for 70 to make an HQ Haubergeon is not gonna work.

There is a chance that you can make an HQ, 'cause there's always a chance, even when skilling up.

But you'd probably need to craft about 40-50 Haubergeons at 70 before you actually get your HQ.

Being such an expensive item, I wouldn't recommend trying to make the HQ unless you're 30 above the cap, at least, so 99. Which is probably why there aren't that many HQ's in sale.

        well...
crafting on full moon during same day as the cystal you use seems to increase HQ rate pretty drastically. At 70 you should be able to get the two pieces of guild equipment. Advanced imagery support helps a bit. Moghancement: Smithing would probably help a lot but you need to be at 88 to get that.

but honestly trying for HQ on items like that is pretty much a 90-95+ smith's domain. You'd be better off buying the item then skilling up a guild and attempting over and over just to make your own.
