  • Tree Saplings

saplings on Ragnarok are approx. 10k each.. I just grew a batch of 20 pots for a total of 37 saplings..
    1 stack sells for 130k

earthen pots only only gave a yield of 1. but ceramic and brass yielded 2.

got 4 mules now 2 are doing tree saplings and 2 are doing elemental ores.

      completely random......

the sad thing is that the 1-2 yeild is all random..

      i used 3 earthen pots
      4 brass pots
3 ceramic pots to get this.

both my mules have this same set up.

it doesn't matter what day you plant on, you do not feed crystals, you do however have to

VISIT THE MOGHOUSE AND EXAMINE YOU POTS EVERYDAY REAL LIFE DAY.

i have been told by many that earthen pots are the way to get and they have gotten the same results....

I've heard that it takes two weeks to get a result of tree saplings... is that true? I've heard it takes visiting mog house twice a day for 2 weeks to yeild tree saplings, someone please confirm this.

Also, what is the recipe for the elemental ore? I've heard something like plant tree saplings, and feed that type of crystal a few times each day, and after a week (more?) there's a CHANCE that there will be a reult in ore. So, what are the best pots/ingredients/methods to gardening ores?

          Saplings:

Any pot. Plant a tree cutting. Check it once a day. It should be ready for harvest in 14-18 days. If you have the workbench and Moghancement: Gardening, you can go a day or two without checking the plants (I was on vacation and away from the comp for 3 days, and my plants didn't wither).

Mine were ready for harvest in approx 16 days. I planted 3 cuttings all in Porcelain pots, and I got 2 sapplings from 1, and 1 sapling from each of the others. I checked the plants at least twice a day, as I heard its better to overwater them then underwater.

The price dropped about 3k/sapling in the time that it took me to grow them, which pissed me off. After waiting 2 weeks for the harvest, 36k is not enough to make it worth it.

I guess if I plant 12 saplings, I can get over 100k back after 2 weeks, but that takes a large initial investment.
