  • All you woodworkers out there =)

K i tried searching the boards for a good woodworking guide but no to no avail,im currently leveling my ranger and would be nice if i could get high enough in woodworking to make my own scorpion arrows,so i was wondering if anyone can post a guide on how they have leveled their woodworking, maybe even where they bought their materials or farmed them,i know its a lot to ask but it would help an awful lot, thank you all for your help in advance and my skill is 0 spent all my time farming gil for ranger and i got bout 200k left aside to level woodworking. Thank you again guys.

To help Marissa start a little I decided a woodworking guide might be interesting from a fishermans perspective.
My total cost for raising woodworking landed at 450k, a large part of this was lost making demon arrows and repairing rods at the higher levels of the craft.
The main goal is to raise skill fast without spending an extraordinary amount of gil.

    What to make:
1-2: Arrowwood lumber, save for stone arrows
2-4: Stone arrows, sell on AH
4-8: Ash lumber, save for silver arrows
8-13: Willow lumber, save for willow wand
13-14: Willow wand, sell to vendor (or AH if you feel patient I guess)
14-21: Maple sugar, sell on AH
21-29: Silver arrows, sell on AH
29-39: Beetle arrows, sell on AH
39-49: Horn arrows, sell on AH
49-59: Scorpion arrows, sell on AH
59-63: Repair Tarutaru fishing rods, buy 35 rods, 6 stacks of sliced bluetail (fast break) or 6 stacks of meatball (slower break) and go skillup fishing on the ferry. While you're at 59 or 60 woodworking when all rods are broken go to sandoria, get woodworking image and repair the rods. at 61-62 skill just repair them when the boat docks on Selbina/Mhaura. Sell leftover rods to vendor when done.
63-67/68: Demon arrows, underprice them to get rid of them if you have to. Were a pain to sell on Ragnarok.
67/68-73: Repair Clothespoles, same procedure as Tarutaru fishing rods.

The major costs above is the Tarutaru fishing rods and the demon arrows, if you can sell the demon arrows fast at a good price compared to the price of the ingredients then you can use demon arrows all the way to 69. Up until 59 you don't really spend much gil, it's those last slow 14 points that really grind the gil.
Once you have 73 just go break your lu shang on the ferry, plenty of skillup opportunities.
