how do u syth +1 items and i have seen ppl use HQ alot i was wondering what that means im a lv 16 carpenter:confused:

+1 is a HighQuality synt of a regular item.

you use the same recepie as the regular item

chance to get the HQ synt is about 0 as same lvl as the synt ie you synt an item that will give u skill to lvl10. at lvl10 your chance to get a HQ synt is about 0. when u get to lvl40 or so u can get em quite often and at lvl50 even more often and so on.

trick is to be way higher lvl than u really need for the reciepie..

Well sometimes you can see whast recipes you can do if the ingredients used are also used as ingredients used at you're lvl of synth.

ie. as 33 Smither, I was able to see that Merc. knife > Windurstian Knife uses Iron ingot to synth, so just tried it out and did it.

Of course, federation knife would have been nice... too bad that's HQ ; ;.

Also take in mind that things like ash lumber also has their own HQ synthesis..

For item such as Ash pole or Lauan shield, High Quality Synthesis would be Ash pole+1 and such...
For item such as Ash lumber, bronze ingot, the HQ would be increase in the quantity produced.. like 2x ash lumber from 1 ash log.
For special item, like the windrustian knife, kumaeru mentioned, the name will change when it's a HQ synethsis.

There are also items that has no HQ synthesis...

Cali, there is no special result for HQs on bronze ingots. The HQ for bronze ingot is . . . one bronze ingot. Whoopeee.
