All Miners....Ifrit's Cauldron

Okay...I've mined Ifrit plenty of times...

1) Navigating is a pain in the ass even though I printed out a map of it. haha
2) Points are camped by things that aggro sight and magic...sound isn't a problem usually.
3) If you are just a pure WHM that thinks they can survive on Invis and Sneak...think again...bad luck = death(meaning that it wears off when you're surrounded by a whole bunch of little -censored word-)

4) Potions of sneak and invis are a MUST...
5) Also if you are unable to get past the 1st flame sprout...then you can only get 3 mining points out of like 15 in Ifrit's...

What other quesitons...
Oh yeah...expect to die.
Don't expect to get adaman on your first trip.
Have fun dying....thats awesome.

You can use whm sneak/invisible if you have been a skilled puller and know how field of detection zone work. I used it well enough to mine near the bombs where people are too scared to stay around (mah power!)

this last patch appearantly raised the price of Adaman ore from 80k to 200k so like half of my linkshell is mining there now ~_~

Most of them go there with a level 30-ish NIN job and just use their 2HR suicide move if they get aggro to avoid EXP loss.

It seems reasonably profitable, especially once you learn how to navigate the zone and avoid aggro.

What i do is go there with nin/war subjob doesnt really matter at all and i have ninja to level 10...

i use Tonko:Ichi for Invisible and Silent Oils for Sneak, it works pretty good and is
A. Uses no magic
B. Not too expensive
Once you've dug up some good ores it'll pay back for itself. And Adaman ore has lowered to around 120k back on Seraph. Orichalcum raised to 70k and is holding.

But then how do you un-invis from Tonko:Ichi?

Mages have to like cast a spell for their invisible to turn off invis...how do NIN's do it?

and how the hard is it to make it to Ifrit's Cauldron from Kazham as a lvl 10 NIN?

I am pretty sure you can cancel it like all other buffs.
Press + twice, scroll with directional arrows to the tonko icon, press enter, there its gone.

wait you can cancel buffs?!?, lol i been playing for a while and i never knew that,
i usually use nin as a sub for my thf, so i tonko and when i want it gone i just use sneak attack, hmmm intersting, i'll have to try that.

So Tonko doesn't pull aggro from bombs since they aggro magic?

I'm almost definite tonko IS a "magic spell", so yes the bombs will aggro it, but its ALOT cheaper then prisims.

No, monster that aggro to magic do not aggro to ninjustsu.

Songs and ninjitsu apparently do not count as magic, this includes tonko... so yes you can tonko without getting magic aggro. I've tested this myself in case anyones wondering how I figured this out
