  • Fixing fishing rods

    hey, can anyone tell me how i can repair my fishin rods? really seems like a waste, this is the 3rd rod i've broken.... = \

    btw, it's a glass fibre rod.

    also, the mithra rod is the expensivest in Pheonix, does that mean it's the best rod?

    thx guys!

    while I'm not sure about all rods, I know that glass rods can be fixed with merely a light crystal and an alchemy skill of about 25.

    as for the mithra rod, out of the big fish rods it does the best with the small fish so as long as you stay off the ferry it should never break and fish most whatever you want with the least risk of breaking it.

      yeah that's right. mithran are expensive because they can catch big fish as well as little fish better than composite. Composite is more durable than mithran but you tend to get "fish too small" messages more often than mithran. Maybe that's why mithran is more expensive. (can catch more small fish than composite)

      But in some places you will find that the only rods that do not break are the composite and lu shang.

      ferry = all rods break.

        I don't agree, composite is just as good if not better than mithran at catching at least moat carp. Other small fish might be another matter but people usually only fish for moat carp.
