What fishing skill is needed to start catching these?

They max out at lvl56 I think so to have a teoretacal high chance of catching them I'd say u need atleast lvl30 fishing....
but if u look to catch em to raise skill and not to make money of it u can get a few of em at as low lvl as 10. I'w soon got a stack of them at lvl11 so its possible... but the catch rate is waaaaay to low to count on making gil of it....
hope this gave u some advice atleast... hard to aswer as I dont know what part u'r interested in...
oh and remember that these fishes are quite uncommon so if u fish in a place with carps u will get lots of moat and tricolored before u get gold carps..Blm 40 / Rdm 16 / Whm 21 / Rng 50 / Thf 15 / Nin 31

I currently have 38 fishing skill and these are a great skill up fish and a decent money fish. Use Mithran Rod and Shrimp lure in Windhurst Waters/Woods/Walls and Gold Carp is the only fish you will catch.
I remember catching one or two at low levels over a long period but they are rare because as said, they're a level 56 fish. However, around 40 you can catch them regularly. More so if you wear clothes and get imagery.Comment
