Woodworking?

Im building my way up to a ranger... will woodworking help me beacause of the arrows i can make? or am i better off doing a different guild that gets me lots of gil, if so what guild?

I'm sure you'll probably get many different opinions on this..

I'm going to say that it will help you if your willing to put the time in for it. You can usually make arrows cheaper than you can buy them. Some arrows are cheaper than others to make, so sometimes you'll save a lot and sometimes you'll save just a bit. If you decide to just skip it and buy all your arrows then you wont be throwing away much gil, but you will have to live with whatever arrows are in stock. You'll also have to buy all of your arrows at the sandoria AH because they are always a lot cheaper there, at least on my server. If there are not any horn arrows to buy though...you'll have to go with the next step down, beetles...for instance. I personally like being able to make my own arrows. If you want you can even save some space by carrying the ingredients and crafting the arrows as you need then.

As I said, I'm sure some people will tell you woodworking isnt worth it...some use it some dont. It works out either way. Try it out and see if it works for you.

You're better off buying 'em.
Being a rng is a good excuse to go into woodworking, but it's certainly not a good enough reason.

Even though i do practice woodworking and i do have a Ranger, i end up just selling the arrows i craft and buying the arrows when i need them.

Sometimes i save money by not buying the arrows at the ridiculous price i charge.
