The use of Rogue Rig to catch Moat carp....no more insect paste?

i am writing this as an inquiry to the fact, that it is possible to catch moat carp with the Rogue Rig, but from what lvl, and with what rod does this combo work best? thanks. I hope more that 1 person will find this post useful ^^

insect paste has high bite rate for moat carp.
rogue rig has crap bite rate for moat carp.

hmm....but dosent the bite rate go up with skill? im sure the 20K u pay for it has to be worth something. And does it have the ability to catch 3 moat carp at a time like the Sabiki Rig?

The Rogue Rig is a lure for catching items. If your skill is high enough you can also catch fish with it (50+ from what I've read). By the time your skill is this high you shouldn't be fishing moats unless it's for Lu Shang's. Stick to insect paste, and if you can't afford that use little worms. The bite rate will be better with those than Rogue Rig could ever be.

At 60 skill Rogue Rig is almost usless for catching Moat Carp, I tried.

thanks for the tips, sadly, im only 3600 carp in, and even though i got alot of money, i feel that buying them is cheating lol. Wierd, since i bot >.> anyways, i do have 59 skill, but i was just curious since i dont see alot of the l33t fishermen using them, IF they are catching carps. Yeah, ill craft my own insect balls, and that should do. thanks for all your helps people ^^,
