Yeah, you'll take a hurting if you sell to NPCs a lot, especially at rough points like 20-30. >< Of course, if you can afford to do that it DOES save oodles of time, so I suppose the best route depends on one's financial solvency. At 51.x alchemy (long break^^) I'm finding it easier to skill up sloooowly and at a profit. This is mainly because my default state of existance is 'broke.'
