  • what i know about gardening, crystal, ect

i see alot of people asking about firecrystals, best pot to use is brass pots, veg, and water. the reason why veg is it gives you the most firecrystal and has the lowest growing time. i dont use herb because it takes a longer period and it dosent give you any more firecrystal compared to veg and it cost more, from what i read on websites is that if you want your plants to grow crystals you have to sow the seeds on the day that is strong vs your crystal fretlizer, so if you want to grow fire crystals, you want to sow the seeds on llighting day, but this method does not work very well if the moon phase is less then a full moon, then you fertlize your watercrystal on a watersday to get best results.

tree cutting will always yeild you crap if you dont plant it on anything more then 50% waxxing, tree saplings comes from tree cuttings, its a rare grow, with all light crystals, and yes you can grow elemental ores with tree sapplings the ore you grow is is the day you sow your seed on. but then as for crystal to use i dont know. im guessin all light crystals., otherwise the only way to obtain one is thur bcnm, i heard rumors of digging for one, ohyea and catus stems is from cataur rare drop in the desert.

        From my little Gardening experience...
        What he said is:

        1. Brass + Vegetable + Water Crystal = Probably best way to produce Fire Crystal.
        2. Plant the seed on the day that Strong to the crystal you want to feed it.
        3. Feed the crystal on the same attribute day.

        Crystal Attribute:
        Fire > Ice > Wind > Earth > Lightning > Water > Fire
        Light <> Dark

        Moon phase:
New Moon, Waxing Cresent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous,
        Full Moon,
Waning Gibbous, Last Quarter, Waning Cresent, New Moon

"Less than a Full Moon" = New Moon to Full Moon period?
"More than 50% Waxing" = First Quarter to Full Moon period?

i just love it when people post something and they use absolutely no punctuation or capital letters and every sentence runs together and you cannot tell where one sentence ends and another begins and every time they have a new though while typing it they will continue with the same sentence and just seperate the two thoughts with the word 'and' like we are supposed to understand exactly what they are talking about and they use the vocabulary and grammar of a 10yr old class clown i almost go searching for your topics and posts because you really humor me BALD TARU TARU and the stuff you come up with and the questions you ask and the flames you create

          have a nice day!

Aside from that I do have something to add to this thread. I've been gardening crystals for a long time now, but one of the things that I have been disappointed with is my crystal vs. other results yield ratio. About the best I am able to get is 50% crystals and 50% other results in my harvests. Has anyone else been able to a larger proportion of crystal yields? I'm not asking anyone to divulge their secrets (I wouldn't), but I'm just wondering if I should continue to shoot for higher yield rates.

I got really lucky the first time I tried to grow fire crystals. From 4 pots I got 3 batches of fire crystals and one batch of la theine cabbages. Even if you do everything right, plant seeds and fee crystals on the proper day yadda yadda there is still going to be some error.

I got a question that is a bit off subject but, what does the dry plant option do? Does it give you anything? Is it any good?

Drying the plant causes it to.. become, well dry. It basically turns it into a house decoration that doesn't wilt. If you plan on drying it for whatever reason, do it when the plant is ready to harvest because it looks more pretty and radioactive. Lol.

Otherwise, don't ever dry your plant if you ever plan on harvesting it for goods..

This is how I grow Fire Crystals:
Materials: Brass Pots, Vegetable Seeds, Water Crystals.
The whole process should take about 3-4 Earth days.

                              1. Plant/Sow the seeds on Firesday.
                              2. Examine the plants once or twice a (Earth) day.
                              3. When given the option to feed a crystal, do it on Watersday.
                              4. Harvest the plants on Firesday. Usually yields Fire Crystals, or La Thiene Cabbages.

Don't toss the cabbages away. Trade them in for fame and some gil at Selbina (to the old man near the sheep).
