Beginning Alchemy

I am lvl4 alchemy and I started making poison powders at lvl3 with alot of failures. (12 poison powders from 4 stacks of lightning crystals, ouch!). At least i got a skill up ...

So in order to help myself from incurring further painful losses I would like to know what the alchemists here do from lvl 4 -11, any tips on the trade is very appriciated !

Poison Dust should be good if you have Advanced Support. Fishing your own Yellow Globes can help too.

Other good options are Tsurara Ninja tools, an Ice Crystal with 2 Rock Salts and 1 Distilled Water; or maybe Deodorizers, Wind Crystal with Olive Oil, Sage & Chamomile.
