So here's the deal. I decided I wanted to start making cotton threads in clothcraft. Everytime I'd check the guild shop for Saruta Cotton, they'd be sold out. So I decided one day to camp the store so I'd be sure to get some cotton before it sold out. I camped about one hour before the shop opened. As soon as it turned 6:00, I tried to buy Saruta cotton. But when I did, I was only able to buy 1 cotton, and it was sold out. I camped the store on two occasions and there was nobody there inside both times.
I figured that maybe the shop in Windurst and the one in Selbina were linked, so I traveled over to Selbina to check the shop there. I went there, and they didn't have any cotton at all! I figured that maybe it was like a real store where they didn't get a shipment in the next day...so I tried again at another time, still no cotton.
So I ask, why does the cotton sell out so fast in Windurst? And does the shop in Selbina sell saruta cotton?
