hmm i have been watching these japanese people buy quvys backplate off of me at around 800-1000 a peice and i figure why spend that much money untill now, corret me if im wrong but it seems like you take on lighting crystal and one backplate and it produce an random ingot? i been watching the japanese people use lighting crystal and they seem to get random ingot such as bronze-iron-darksteel. so i guess its alot of luck....

if you mean quad backplate it makes steel ingot. turtle backplate( high fishing guild catch) uses in bone guild for some hairpins, that funky vit sheild etc.

Quadav backplate and wind crystal extracts the dark ore out of it (or so i have been told ...unconfirmed)

I've foudn that high level bone guild Turtle Shell just digging up with a pick axe in tahrongi LOL.
