I was just wondering about needing skill in several different crafts to make some items. I've heard that skill is required in say, woodwork and smithing for things like spears, or wood and bone for some bows. I was just wondering if these were actually required to make the items, or if they are only required to make the components. (i.e. if you buy/have someone else make the components you can still craft the item).
