I'd like to know how to craft the ninja tool Shihei. I think it's used with the blink ninjitsu?

I've heard it involves woodworking of 28+ skill . . . but nobody has it on their list.

Makibishi is listed in a few places. It seems to be skill 21-23, and requires wind crystal + handful of iron scales(1)

Be warned, making makibishi is kinda useless because it doesn't seem that Doton ninjitsu are used very often.

Oops, found the answer to my own question. Shihei requires

1x wind crystal + 1x black ink + 2x bast parchment

whew! expensive.

Was this still in the Woodworking guild? I'm very curious about crafting this and just wanted to make sure.

I'm not sure if woodworking is still used for Shihei or not. Due to the expense involved with black ink, I haven't been willing to test it. My guess would be "yes", but . . . that's just a guess *)

On my server(Midgardsormr), the raw expense involved makes crafting Shihei to be worthless as compared to buying Shihei on the open market. Erm, usually.

yes, it's made with woodworking.

I can make shihei and other Japanese sounding things. I had no idea what they were until just recently. I can make a few other things like that. I had thought that ninjitsu was alchemy, though. Is it just split between the two guilds, or what?

There may be recipes for ninjitsu tools in many different guilds. I know shihei are in woodworking, and makibishi in blacksmithing . . . others may be in alchemy.
