Auction house - usuallyu can get them for 500 gil I think, or get 12 for 5000 because they break V easily

I've been pretty lucky then, bought 12, and i've used the same one for a while now, got back my 5k on logs w/ just one hatchet.

Though I spent about the same on wind crystals so I could work woodworking up by making the cheep logs into lumber.

Hatchet lifespan increases with woodskill, I'm convinced of this now. At 10 woodskill I can usually get 2 elm logs out of Gelsba per hatchet, about 40-50 chops.

You can make them to.

3 copper ore=33gil
1 tin ore=30gil

use fire crystal to turn these into bronze ingots.

when you have 2 bronze ingots,

get a maple log=100gil?

use wind crystal to turn that into maple lumber.

then synthesize with this ingredient

fire crystal
2 x bronze ingots
1 x maple lumber
=
Hatchet

I tried that, failed everytime I tried to make a hatchet. So I decided screw it, and went and got a stack from the AH(last one for sale ^_^)

I really wanna to join Carpenter guild! I went there and ask everyone works inside guild. I seem can't join them. Anyone can help me how i can join carpenter guild? I only able to join Tanner guild.

The guild master is rightoutside the guild, near the floor one exit. Just talk to the 3 - 4 people there, he is one of them. Also i would like to know what recepie i should do at lvl 8. Can anyone help me?

At Lv 8 woodworking you should do Willow and Holly lumber, and then when you reach ~12 start doing Maple Sugar till about Lv 20 Woodworking. (should get advanced imagery support for the maple sugars, as they will fail quite often even with imagery support at Lv 12, but it's cheap to synth, and your skill will be sky rocketing till about Lv 17-18 when it starst slowing down.) Recipy for Maple Sugar is Maple log + Lightning Crystal for those wondering.
